Meeting the Needs of Orange County’s Hispanic Youth

HEEF’s goal is to enhance educational opportunities and to improve students’ educational expectations and opportunities. The Fund is a resource to academically talented Hispanic/Latino youth that need to overcome financial barriers to complete a college degree.

Mission Statement

The Orange County Hispanic Educational Endowment Fund (HEEF) serves students who have attended high school in Orange County (OC), California and been residents for a minimum of four years and are intending to enroll in a university program. Our mission is to improve access to higher education for Orange County’s Hispanic/Latino students. HEEF offers competitive academic scholarships for Orange County high school and community college transfers, and additionally, awards tuition grants for students at selected Santa Ana, CA Catholic Grammar Schools, and provides scholarships for OC college graduates to attend Law School.

HEEF is a fund of the Orange County Community Foundation, 4041 MacArthur Blvd., Suite 510, Newport Beach, CA 92660, (949) 553-4202. OCCF is a 501(C)(3) charitable organization with the federal nonprofit identification number 33-0378778.
