The Program - 2009
The Orange County Hispanic Education Endowment Fund (HEEF)
of the Orange County Community Foundation provides scholarships for
Orange County Hispanic students with financial need at all levels along
the education continuum, from elementary school through graduate degree
programs. HEEF strives to respond to the
educational needs of Hispanic youth, thereby improving opportunities
for all Hispanic students.
Eligibility
Students may apply to more than one scholarship program but they may
receive an award from only one fund or program.
Each fund or program has its own criteria as listed on attached page.
On your application, indicate scholarship programs for which you are
eligible from the following:
- Architecture and Engineering Scholarship
- Arts Scholarship Program
- Richard Bermudez/Friends of Cal State Fullerton Scholarship

- The Mike Carona Foundation Law Enforcement Scholarship Program
- Chapman University Scholarship Program
- Community College Scholarship Program
- The Eisner Foundation Fund
- Friends of University of California Irvine
- Future Leaders of America
- Healthcare Education Scholarship Fund
- High School Seniors Scholarship Program
- Hispanic Bar Association/Wally Davis Memorial Legal Scholarship
Fund
- Ronald McDonald/HACER-UCI Scholarship
- Sage Hill School
- Soka University Scholarship Fund
- Vanguard University Scholarship Fund
Selection of Recipients
Applications will be reviewed by community advisors and Foundation
staff. Candidates will be notified by mail of their application status
by early March of the application year. An awards ceremony will follow later in the year.
