Scholarship of Excellence
For superior academic achievement (3.8 GPA or higher) in high school or community college.

High School Seniors
To attend a college, university, community college or trade school.
Award Amount: $1,000 Max. Projected # of Awards: 20
Community College Student
For community college transfer students to a 4-year college or university.
Award Amount: $1,000 Max. Projected # of Awards: 20
Renewable Scholarship for Community College
or University and College Students
For academic achievement (3.5 GPA or higher), financial need and involvement in college/community activities.
Award Amount: $1,000 Max. Projected #: 5

Angel and Rosemary Varela Scholarship Fund
For an AB 540 male and female community college transfer to a four year college or university.

Architecture and Engineering Scholarship Program
For high school seniors with a minimum 3.5 GPA, who have been accepted into an accredited 4 or 5-year program in Architecture or Engineering; or for Community College transfer students with a minimum 3.2 GPA who have been accepted into an accredited program in Architecture or Engineering. Scholarship may be renewable based on academic performance.
Award Amount: $4,000 Max. Projected # of Awards: 4
Arts Scholarship Program
High school seniors interested in music, drama, dance, visual or fine art and graphic design.
Award Amount: $1,000 Max. Projected # of Awards: 1 2
Association of Hispanic Professionals for Education
High school seniors (3.0 GPA) majoring in Business Administration with involvement in school or community activities.

Chapman University Scholarship Program
For high school Latino/a students of immigrant parents. Applicants must be admitted and enroll at Chapman through the regular admissions process, have significant financial need as defined by the Federal needs analysis formula; have attained a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale; and demonstrate involvement in extracurricular or other activities.

The Mike Corona Foundation Law Enforcement Scholarship
High school seniors interested in any aspect of law enforcement.
Award Amount: $1,000 Max. Projected # of Awards: 4 This is a renewable scholarship.
The Eisner Foundation
For youth that are active participants of the non-profit organization, Disney GOALS.
The awards may be used for tutoring costs or scholarships at all levels along the education continuum.
Award Amount: $500 - $1,000 Max. Projected # of Awards: 5
El Viento Endowed Scholarship
For eligible high school seniors from the Oak View Community who have participated in the El Viento program from 4th through 12th grades, and will attend one of the Coast Community College District colleges fall 2009.

Friends of Cal State Fullerton / Richard Bermudez Scholarship Fund
For high school seniors who meet regular CSU admission requirements, demonstrate financial need, apply for financial aid, have a minimum 2.5 GPA, demonstrate a significant contribution to school and community, academic potential and motivation to succeed.

Friends of the University of California, Irvine
For high school seniors or community college transfers admitted to and enroll at UC Irvine and demonstrate involvement and leadership in extracurricular, volunteer or community service or participation in pre-college programs. All majors are eligible.

Healthcare Education Scholarship Fund
High school seniors interested in any of the various fields of healthcare.

Hispanic Bar Association/Wally Davis Memorial Legal Scholarship Fund
In memory of Wally Davis, one of the first Hispanic attorneys in Orange County, whose legal career was dedicated to Civil Rights, The OC Hispanic Bar Association (HBA) awards scholarships to admitted and enrolled Law School students.

De La Libertad Scholarship Fund
For clients of Human Options and/or their children.
Support for victims of domestic violence in their quest to achieve personal freedom, physical safety, and economic independence through education. Scholarships are for educational attainment at a 2- or 4-year college or University, certified vocational training program, or other educational curricula approved by Human Options.

Lara Family Scholarship Fund
For Mexican/Mexican-American graduating HS seniors, community college
transfers, and previous HEEF 2 or 4-year college recipients and graduate
students.

MANA de Orange County
For Latinas whose families qualify for federal financial aid.
MANA de Orange County focuses on encouraging young women with children interested in returning to school to pursue an Education.

For high school seniors who demonstrate community leadership by volunteering at least 30 hours at a community-based non-profit.

Sage Hill High School: For students admitted to SHHS and who apply to the SHHS financial aid department
Award Amount: $500-$1,000 Max. Projected # of Awards: 2
Soka University of America Scholarship Fund
Two scholarships are awarded annually to Latino/a high school seniors who have been accepted at Soka; demonstrate financial need based on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA); have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale; and have evidence of strong extracurricular activities demonstrating leadership potential.
